David Francis to Lead Global Growth Strategy + Government Affairs
Washington, D.C. – March 5 – Jetr Global Sports + Entertainment, a leading firm specializing in global strategy, government affairs, and international immigration for sports and entertainment, today announced that David Francis will join the company in a newly created position as Vice President of Global Growth Strategy and Government Affairs. Travis Murphy, a former aide on Capitol Hill, foreign service officer, and NBA executive, is CEO.
Francis joins Jetr Global after spending 14 years at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, where he was Senior Advisor for Government Affairs during the administrations of Presidents Obama, Trump, and Biden. In this role, he collaborated closely with high-performance athletes from Team USA, national governing bodies of sport, federal agencies, and Congress. He also supported six Olympic and Paralympic Games in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Francis’s expertise will be instrumental in advancing Jetr Global’s mission to foster international partnerships and navigate the evolving intersection of sports, business, and policy. In this role, David will spearhead initiatives aimed at expanding stakeholder’s international presence by guiding organizations in developing tailored market entry strategies and driving growth and strategic partnerships on a global scale. He will also lead Jetr Global’s government affairs efforts, helping clients navigate the complex political and regulatory landscape affecting the sports and entertainment industries.
