Jetr Global Launches Accelerated Border Crossing (ABC) Program for Professional Sports Teams Entering the United States
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Jetr Global Sports + Entertainment has announced the launch of its Accelerated Border Crossing (ABC) Program, an initiative developed in coordination with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to streamline international arrivals for professional sports teams entering the United States.
The ABC Program allows athletes, coaches, and staff traveling on international charter flights to complete arrival procedures quickly and discreetly, avoiding congestion in public airport terminals while ensuring all security and inspection requirements are met.
“Professional sports teams cross U.S. borders dozens of times each year, often late at night and under tight schedules,” said Travis Murphy, CEO of Jetr Global Sports + Entertainment. “The ABC Program creates a better process for everyone involved. Teams move through the border faster and more predictably, and CBP officers are able to process large groups of travelers in a more organized and efficient way. During a long and grueling season, every minute matters. The goal of the ABC Program is to make sure teams clear the border and get on with their business as quickly and smoothly as possible.”
As the United States hosts an unprecedented wave of global sporting events over the next decade, efficient travel systems for athletes and teams has become increasingly critical. Teams using the ABC Program are already enjoying tangible benefits, including time saved on each arrival, greater privacy for players and staff, and smoother late-night entries following games when CBP services would otherwise be unavailable. These efficiencies are particularly valuable when travel schedules are unusually tight, such as back-to-back games and international tournaments.
Through the ABC Program, Jetr Global manages the arrival process from start to finish, coordinating with teams, charter operators, airport authorities, and CBP to ensure a smooth entry into the United States. The result is a faster and more predictable arrival experience that protects player privacy, reduces post-game travel fatigue, and allows teams to focus on competition.
Murphy also praised CBP’s openness to new approaches in managing high-volume international travel. “CBP has been an outstanding partner in exploring creative ways to manage international arrivals for professional sports teams,” Murphy said. “CBP’s willingness to work with the private sector to improve operational efficiency makes a real difference. Programs like this demonstrate how collaboration can produce solutions that strengthen security while improving the travel experience.”
Nationwide Operational Footprint
The ABC Program currently operates at more than 60 major U.S. airports, including key hubs in Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK and Newark), Miami, San Francisco, Washington (Dulles), Dallas-Fort Worth, Atlanta, among many others, enabling consistent execution regardless of entry point.
